STATISTICS:
· 2,895 paid registrations @ 30JUN11
· 749 lines in committee work list of “parts” to build
· 150 hashers are authorized for Fast-Track Electronic Tickets
· 36 names on-board with committee jobs

PROGRAMS:
LOOKING FOR LOST SUPPORTING SOULS, we sent out a broadcast e-mail to the 421 Pledge Holder hashers who chose us but haven’t returned. Now we have just 298 left, so we’re improving therefore we continue our quest to reward all of them; if you know one………then send ‘em our way!!!

We continue to promote our FAST-TRACK ELECTRONIC TICKET REGISTRATION QUEUE; we commit to 15 or fewer minutes from reception screening to ID-bracelet “on”. RUN FEE INCREASE is still on track for the 31AUG11 run fee increase from US$175 to US$200….STILL A BARGAIN for a full-up three-day week-end blowout…..unless you’re holding a US$20 Pledge document; then you’re at US$155. WOW!!...on Halloween 31OCT11 jump to US$250!!!

TRAILS:
The trails sampling includes the seriously severe Super-Long BallBreaker run on Saturday, the Sunday Old Farts’ Fling fabulously flat and fleeting plus the Saturday & Sunday offerings:
ü 8 x (L) long trails
ü 10 x (M) medium trails
ü 14 x (S) short trails

These 32 trails with approximately 150 hashers/trail have a capacity of 4,800 runners/day within our projected target of 5,000-7,000 attendance; with a 32 trails base, some trails are more conducive for heavier loading if attendance surges upward. Our standards for L & M & S trails will be forthcoming in FAQs in a month or so. BTW-by the way, for you “gamblers”, four (4) of the trails will be on the continuously active volcanic Mount Merapi (try Googling “Merapi eruption 2010”).

Our Trailmaster EKO and his hares are feverishly designing, testing, mapping the trails NOW during the “dry” season which will be the season for our IH2012@Borobudur.

SOUVENIRS:
Last month’s status report listed our committed fourteen (14) components within each hasher’s goody bag. The website’s FAQs will be carrying this list with ever increasing detail on each item.

SARONG, as described in www.thefreedictionary.com website, is garment consisting of a length of printed cloth wrapped about the waist that is worn by men and women in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Pacific islands. Sarongs are not only pieces of fabric, but also mean many things to many people. Sarongs can be used in many different ways. You can use them as a summer sexy skirt, quick bathing cover-up, shawl or scarf in winter, wall art or even beach blanket. But no matter what you call them or how you use them, sarongs are definitely a piece of clothing that you cannot avoid in summer. The IH2012 sarongs are HUGE (170x120 cm (67”x47”)), fringed too and made of high quality rayon giving you the most comfortable sensation. A unique Indonesian Batik pattern is the basic layout of the sarong; this basic pattern, then combined with world map laid above, highlights Indonesia, especially Borobudur, the IH 2012 site. This is a work of art with virtually every color in the spectrum plus flashbacks to all 17 previous Interhashes leading to a dominant domed stupa characteristic of the Buddhist Borobudur temple.

WORLD HASH DIRECTORY, as shown as a request item on previous registration forms, has now gone VERY GREEN !!! Save the trees and join the twenty-first century of digital information. Every goody bag will be stuffed with a single CD directory.

T-SHIRT SIZES present a Gordian knot problem of Herculean dimensions. Asians complain that Western S,M,L,XL sizes are too large and just don’t fit. Westerners complain that Asian S,M,L,XL sizes are too small and just don’t fit. T-shirt manufacturers’ tooling offer each manufacturer its own rendition of S,M,L,XL sizes. Our IH2012 registration forms have cycled from only qualitative S,M,L,XL from before bidding until now with three designations. The IH2012 SOLUTION has six prongs:
1. adopt our manufacturer’s tooling for size of actual garment
2. label with three designations, i.e. qualitative = metric = English, e.g. M=110cm=44 “
3. register new hashers with new form showing three size designations
4. campaign for updates from existing registrants who now can see reality
5. train check-in registration clerks to translate old size designations to the new standard
6. provide the “DO UNTO OTHERS, AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM, DO UNTO YOU” RETURN/EXCHANGE WINDOW in the Monjali Registration Arena thereby guaranteeing instant remedy for misfits.

CIRCLES --- Since we are very sensitive about the Circles success, we will survey hashdom for fifteen astounding circle teams to conduct world-class circles at every run site. Soooooooooo, if you think your chapter has the credentials and character and cojones, to entertain your IH peers, then we want to hear your self-nomination. While we wait for you to offer, you don’t wait for the worldwide solicitation by E-Shot.

WHERE FOR TWO OHH JUAN FOR (IH2014)? --- At the present time, (alphabetically) Belgium, Brussels and China, Hainan Island and Fiji have stepped up as interested. Our broadcast seeking all bidders explained what assistance we offer and especially much of what we envision for election, balloting and security processes; the E-Shot broadcast #12 went out to GMs of record and all others to whom we had e-mail addresses on 19JUN11. We, IH2012, most vigorously promote and defend the principle of “only one vote prepared by only that one voter who casts only one ballot”. If you and/or your friends are nuts and crazy enough to build one of these Interhash events, please fire us an e-mail to become a bidder and join the preparations…..soon.
